I am a graduate of the Sustainable Faith 2 year program. My other degrees are BSRN, and JD. I also have certificate in Mediation from Phoenix Strategies, Colorado Springs. Despite growing up a preacher’s daughter, I have often wondered why God was (or wasn’t!) allowing certain circumstances in my life. There have been plenty of times when I felt angry, hurt, confused and even abandoned by God. Yet through it all, I’ve seen His goodness and experienced His faithful, loving presence in the midst of pain and problems. I’ve also come to realize how vital it is to have the support of fellow pilgrims along the way, especially during times when God feels distant or confusing.

I want to help you, too, see God’s goodness and lovingkindness at work in the midst of your life. I want you to know how much and how deeply God loves you, and that He will work all things together for your good. It’s okay to be unsure or struggling in our walk with God. Through the process of listening and noticing His presence together, He will lead you into deeper understanding, healing and peace. I know this because I’ve seen it happen over and over again, in my own life and in the lives of those with whom I work.

Through the training program at Soul Shepherding, I learned how to wed my love of spirituality and emotional health, and was certified as a Spiritual Director in 2022. Prior to this, I obtained my doctorate from Rosemead School of Psychology, at Biola University, in 2000, and practiced as a licensed clinical psychologist for 20 years, specializing in trauma and adoption. Shortly after my husband and I had our first son in 2006, our family dealt with significant health issues. God used this to propel me into the world of alternative healthcare. I have since had additional training in numerous mind-body techniques that can be used to foster healing and increase our ability to both hear from and respond to our Heavenly Father.

My absolute favorite thing is to see people set free to have a renewed relationship with the triune God, and to more fully express their unique gifts and abilities in His Kingdom. I would love to journey with you on your path as we learn to revel in God’s goodness together!

Hi, my name is Chris and my own personal journey towards spiritual direction was about a decade in the making.

In my early thirties, I experienced a dark night of the soul that lasted for over a year. It was a difficult and disorientating time. I felt alone and without a good space to be able to openly and honestly process what was happening in my journey with God. Little did I know then what a gift that time would be. God used that time not only for forming my own soul but for shaping my future vocation. Through this experience, God gave me a passion for helping others better understand their own spiritual journeys, spiritual disciplines, and the care of their souls.

I bring over 20 years of experience in church and parachurch ministry as well as in learning and development across the lifespan. I have served on church staff and in church leadership and have extensive experience leading adult spiritual formation classes and book clubs. I completed a Master’s Degree in Educational Psychology: Learning and Development at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a two-year training program in Spiritual Direction through The Christos Center for Spiritual Formation.

I have been married for 23 years and have one teenage daughter. I love to be outside in nature, backpack camping, doing leather work and anything creative, and reading - especially anything sci-fi/fantasy or related to spiritual growth and development.

I am on staff with Gracebridge Alliance, a non-profit organization of spiritual directors that desires to help sustain faithfulness in ministry leaders. I see directees in person in our offices in Brookfield, WI, and Fond du Lac, WI, as well as remotely.

I count it a privilege to be invited to companion with people as they seek to journey deeper into the transforming love of Jesus. The Prophet Jeremiah, in the midst of a spiritually dry time, reminded God’s people, “’Long ago the Lord said to Israel: “I have loved you, my people, with an everlasting love. With unfailing love, I have drawn you to myself.” (Jeremiah 31:3, NLT) As we travel through all phases and seasons of life, the joyful and the difficult, Jesus is continually inviting us to respond to Him and live more fully in His love for us. This does not always mean the love Jesus is extending to us is obvious at first or easy to embrace. Yet, what I love about the ministry of Spiritual Direction is the chance to assist and support others as they seek to know and encounter Jesus is a personal and formative way. I desire to be a presence and listening ear that opens the door for others to meet with and hear from the Holy Spirit, who is the true Spiritual Director of our lives. God is the guide, the grace, and the goal of our journey; our role is to attentively recognize and respond to His movements in our lives.
I have the joy of being with Jesus and people in many facets of life. I am husband to a wonderful wife, a dad to two young boys, an ordained pastor in The International Church of the Foursquare Gospel, as a Spiritual Director, and as the Care Pastor at Faith Fellowship Church in Uxbridge, MA where I facilitate the pastoral care ministries of the church and oversee the church’s small groups. My training includes a B.A. in Biblical Studies from Zion Bible College, a Masters of Divinity from Ashland Theological Seminary with a concentration in Spiritual Formation, and the completion of a two-year training cohort in Spiritual Direction through The PAX Center of Spiritual Formation.

I also hold a master’s degree in Pastoral Counseling from Asbury Theological Seminary (2016) and am a Commissioned Ecumenical Minister through Federation of Christian Ministries.
~Having lived in Anchorage, Alaska for 19 years, the Holy Spirit meaningfully shaped my life through retreat ministry there and many beloved people. Now I live in central Florida where I love spending time with family, friends, being a Nana, outdoor evening walks, the smell of pine trees, and labyrinth prayer walking. I completed my M.A. in Spiritual Formation and Soul Care at Talbot School of Theology and currently practice Spiritual Direction both virtually and in the Orange County area. "As a spiritual director, I am a faithful and engaged listener who compassionately companions and encourages others to a deeper understanding of their belovedness in Jesus. My personal life call is to love and know God with intention, vigor, and passion. (Jeremiah 9:34)

I have walked my own wilderness journey with the Lord, and from there my desire was stirred to companion believers while they walk out their own journeys with Jesus. I have walked through divorce, single-parenting, remarriage and merging a blended family. Years in the wilderness deepened my love for Jesus and shaped my spiritual journey like nothing else has. I have been a military wife, a registered nurse, and I have directed a Christian ministry.

I encourage people on their journeys at different levels. I offer individual and group spiritual direction and some coaching. I speak at retreats on spiritual intimacy and growing deeper in Christ, and I also host contemplative group retreats in my home. It is a joy to see people journey with Christ and each other for a day!

I received my Spiritual Direction training from Selah (Leadership Transformations). I have completed the Transforming Center’s program for Spiritual Transformation, Larry Crabb’s New Way School of Spiritual Direction, and I have completed Coaching the Heart program from Leadership MetaFormation.

I am married to my best friend Ken, and we have a large and loud family of five children, three daughters-in-love, and three grandchildren. I’m a second generation Asian-American who has worked in professional church ministry in the past. I enjoy art and museums, being an auntie, and walks in the park. How is God at work in you? What is God communicating? How can you be true to your call in the circumstances you find yourself in? Questions such as these are explored in our fifty-minute sessions.

I am a gentle, intuitive, and trained spiritual director wanting to provide a space where God can be met. I’d like to assist you to notice the depth and details of your journey. Together, we cultivate a more reflective dimension to your Christian spirituality, with hopes that it brings greater connection to and awareness of God in your life.

I am a spiritual director with dual trainings through Richmont Graduate University and Larger Story with Larry Crabb. Because I believe in the mind-body-spirit connection, I am trained in brainspotting, which can be helpful in processing spiritual trauma/abuse, as well as offer deeper connection with God by accessing emotions, memories, and ideas stored beyond conscious thought and language. After 20 years of serving on various church staffs, as well as growing up in a ministry family, I am passionate about companioning both church staff and those who have been hurt by the church. It is a special privilege to witness the stories of others and hold them before God. Working through my own healing process has developed an affinity for others in the process of grieving and healing.

As a spiritual director, I seek to create a calm and welcoming space to explore the work of the Holy Spirit in the life of the directee. I believe that the Spirit is the ultimate director and is always at work in the directee’s life, even if the directee is unaware. Using a contemplative model, I follow the directee’s lead in the session as we pay attention together to their spiritual dynamics. As led by the Spirit, or requested by the directee, I incorporate brainspotting, as well as other spiritual practices into the direction session.

I also offer experiences with spiritual practices to groups, such as contemplative prayer, lectio divina, etc.

Your story and your heart matter. Many things lead an individual to consider a spiritual direction relationship: a longing for deeper intimacy with God, a difficult or transitional season of life, faith stretching questions, or the demands, isolation, and intensity of ministry.

As a spiritual director, my heart will be attentive to God as I companion you. Together we will listen for God and look for His fingerprints on the pages of your story. My prayer is that you will experience God's love more fully and move into greater freedom, healing, and wholeness in Him.

I graduated from Messiah College with a Bachelor of Arts in studio art (1992). I received a Master of Divinity from Biblical Seminary, Hatfield, PA (2004) and I completed spiritual direction training at Kairos: School of Spiritual Formation, Lancaster, PA (2013).

I am also a wife, mother, artist and author. My husband is an attorney and my two daughters are young adults. As an artist I reflect on, respond to, and pray the beauty and the mess of our walk with God through images. I have created three devotional books that blend Scripture, art, reflections, and journal pages.

I’m a husband, father of two and spiritual director that has been pastoring in the greater Seattle area for the last ten years. I have over 20 years of ministry experience and am ordained with The Christian and Missionary Alliance. About Me

What I love most about spiritual direction is that it creates a space for people to come unguarded before God and bring what's authentic, even when it's unpolished. In turn, they encounter God's goodness in fresh ways that deepen faith and generate freedom.

I've spent over 10 years pastoring youth and families in the church and have my MA in Theology from Concordia University. I was trained as a spiritual director through Nuos Formation and also have 10 years experience life coaching around a variety of issues. I approach my work holistically and will often use the body to help people access their emotions and have a felt experience of grace. I am trauma and BIPOC informed. I continue to be in awe of how God uses the seemingly mundane experiences of life as opportunities to be fully known by him and others and expand our capacity to give and receive love.

One of my greatest joys is spending time with my playful husband of seven years and connecting with my step-kids (now 21 and 23). Being a step mom has been a vulnerable grace toward deeper belonging. Recently God has been drawing me to explore the arts and I'm pursuing an AA in dance.

I can meet with people in-person or on Zoom. I lead groups as well as work one on one with men and women of all ages.

I marvel at the path God has cleared for me to find His nearness. During some stormy years of pain and loss, my faith was reshaped to discover the presence of Jesus through the practice of Lament. The freedom explored in this ancient spiritual practice led me to write a lament booklet to encourage others. Through my dependence on the Holy Spirit, I find deep listening to other’s stories a means to dusting for the fingerprints of God. Currently, in my local Church, I lead small groups through a grief support ministry which I co-created. Coming alongside those struggling with loss of any type stirs me to show the same mercy, grace, and compassion I have received. I completed my Spiritual Direction certificate through Sustainable Faith, as well as a certificate as a Grief Recovery Specialist through the Grief Recovery Method. I am available for both individual and group direction via in-person or zoom.

About Me

Years ago I felt the Lord say to me, "I have made you to be like Silas, one who comes along side." I have discovered that the deeper meaning of this calling is in spiritual direction. I count it a privilege to journey along side others as we walk with God in our direction appointments.

I currently serve as the Senior Pastor of Carefree Vineyard Church and hold a Masters of Divinity from The Master's Institute. Prior to this call, I served as the Assistant Pastor at Hope Church in Phoenix, AZ for 8 years. I have also completed the two year school of spiritual direction offered by Sustainable Faith as a means of following the Lords call. My wife and I founded It's For Freedom in 2015 to expand the ministry of inner healing, deliverance and spiritual direction.

I also enjoy and am available to lead retreats and teach workshops on the topics of inner healing, deliverance, soul care and spiritual direction.
