About Me

I am the Lead Pastor at Journey Community Church in Allen, Texas. Six years ago we began our first Life With God group. This formational process has become the core of our desire to help people discover a more formational approach to their faith. We have begun utilizing Life With God studies as the core of our Community Group system. Having been in vocational ministry for over 25 years, I am excited to finally be able to offer a discipleship process that truly invites people to discover a life-changing encounter with God.

About Me

I currently serve as the Children’s Ministry Director at Rockhills Church and have been going through LWG for the past four semesters. I live in San Antonio, Texas with my husband, Bay and our three dogs, Penny, Ruger and Benelli. We have three grown children, Brenden, and his wife Emily, who live in Lubbock, Ryan who is back home in San Antonio after graduating from Texas Tech, and Alyssa who is attending Texas State in San Marcos.

I am a trained spiritual director, having received my certificate in 2017, with a heart for all Christians to come into a deeper, more intimate relationship with God. And this is why I am also a trained Life With God leader. Life With God is an amazing, one-of-a-kind program that is truly life changing! I love to see the lives of my participants transform as they travel through each semester experiencing God's word and His loving presence! I offer my class online because I want to reach all who have come to that place in their spiritual walk where they want more but can't seem to find it in their own church. If you are a woman with such a desire, please consider signing up! The beginning date and day of the week are TBD even though the group shows that we are meeting on Wednesdays.

About Me

My name is Peggy Arendsee and I am a spiritual director, trained by Sustainable Faith. I have been a believer for over 60 years, married for 47 years, raised and homeschooled six children, lived in 11 states, and ministered alongside my husband who served as an Air Force pilot, a pastor, and an Air Guard Chaplain. We are retired and enjoying 14 grandchildren. I have loved God all my life, but only in the last five years did I discover how to know God and myself in the deep intimacy I had always longed for. I am passionate about sharing the spiritual formation concepts that helped me find healing and joy in Jesus. I led a small group of women from my church, Midlothian Bible, through the first two semesters of LWG in 2022-23. If they all commit to semester three in the Fall, there will be six of us, so I would love to open to others who have completed the first two books. I also hope to lead a new group through semesters one and two, beginning in September. Although I will recruit first within my church, I expect there will be room for others, who I would be delighted to include. Stand by for dates and times.

About Me

My name is Dana Franklin and I am an American living in Canada and have led all semesters of LWG in an online group, which was amazing because of the work Jesus did in our lives and the trusing relationships we formed. I've been in ministry for over 30 years, earned a certificate spiritual formation at Talbot Theological Seminary and have worked in the marketplace recently. My desire is for each LWG member to know and experience God's love, grace, truth and forgiveness in deeper ways and to know oneself more clearly and honestly while journeying with others in the context of trusting community.
