Every Life with God study includes:

Audio Teaching

Participants listen to an online audio teaching that accompanies their notebook. Internet access is required from a desktop or mobile device.

Guided Personal Reflection

Participants experience God through a variety of reflective activities and prayer projects.

Small Groups

Participants forge a covenant-supported relationship with others in their community as they process their experience together.

SEMESTER ONE

The Genesis of Relationship

The Genesis of Relationship is the first study of the foundational year of Life with God.Through this 12-week study, participants examine the creation story: how God intended for us to relate with Him, and how the fall of humanity introduced harmful relational habits we still suffer from today.

SEMESTER TWO

The History of the Heart

The History of the Heart completes the foundational year of the Life with God series. Through this 12-week study, participants explore the lives of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. As we observe how God calls the Patriarchs of the nation Israel to a life of dependence on Him, we will explore our own tendencies to live independently from God’s grace and care.

Special Feature: Heart History Project. Participants experience God through a variety of reflective exercises and a life mapping project which runs the length of the semester.

SEMESTER THREE

From Bondage to Freedom

From Bondage to Freedom is available for those who have completed the foundational year of the Life with God series. This 12-week study is a meditative journey through the the Book of Exodus. Looking at the journey of Israel, we reveal common challenges to growth in our relationship with God and others.

Special Feature: Weekly Walk with God. Participants enjoy a discipline of prayer in the midst of an outdoor walk, extending their experience of God into new areas of their lives.

SEMESTER FOUR

A Call to Desire and Discern

A Call to Desire and Discern is available for those who have completed the foundational year of the Life with God series. This 12-week study examines the motivations of the early kings of Israel as recorded in first and second Samuel. As Saul’s and David’s desires are exposed, we are invited to discern what is sacred and sinful about our own desires within the context of God’s perfect love.

SEMESTER FIVE

Daily Abiding with Jesus

Daily Abiding with Jesus is available for those who have completed the foundational year of the Life with God series. This 12-week study is a meditative journey through the Gospel of John. The daily meditations cover 24 scenes from the life of Christ and lead us to experience our lives as His disciples. Through the weeks we explore our calling to Jesus, His miracles, death, resurrection and our commitment as His followers.

SEMESTER SIX

Bearing the Fruit of Love

Bearing the Fruit of Love is available for those who have completed the foundational year of the Life with God series. This 12-week study is designed to be the last semester of the Life with God studies. The scriptural focus is the book of Acts, specifically the transition that the disciples experienced after the ascension of Jesus and the coming of the promised Holy Spirit. Looking at the journey of the early church, we reveal themes that aid our own transition beyond our Life with God experience.

Special Feature: Creating a Rule of Life. Participants prepare a personal Rule of Life as they evaluate the spiritual practices that they have experienced through the Life with God series.
