Join our CSDA community for a time of reflection and sharing about our theme for this year: Resilience. Our conversation will focus on John Eldredge’s book entitled Resilient: Restoring Your Weary Soul in These
Troubled Times. The book, written to post-pandemic Christians, offers food for thought regarding how one restores their soul’s reserves after trying times.
In preparation for our time together, read the book, gauge the weariness of your soul, and possibly try some of the suggested exercises. Also, use the book to help you notice directees who may be experiencing their own
soul weariness. Then come prepared to dialogue with other directors about where you are personally, what is moving you toward resilience, and what you are observing in your practice.
