Spiritual Wisdom for Living with AI with Julie Barrios
A Four-Part Professional Development Event
Professional Development Events are recorded, and the video recordings will be available under My Events on your Grafted Life account dashboard one week after the event.
What comes up in you when you hear the phrase “artificial intelligence”? Perhaps it’s full-scale enthusiasm because you’ve been receiving help from ChatGPT for everything from planning your vacation to landscaping that pesky bit of yard that you’ve never quite known how to plant. Or maybe it’s a blind panic or even fear, certain that this brave new world bodes ill for all humanity. Or maybe you respond with a shrug, opting to remain uninvolved and leave engagement to a different generation. All understandable responses.
What should our response be? What is God calling us to as we confront technologies that are reshaping our world? What do our directees or those in our churches need from us as their lives are potentially impacted in any one of a number of ways? All reasonable questions.
CSDA is pleased to offer a 4-part Professional Development Event led by Julie Barrios, founder of Nuos Formation: Spiritual Wisdom for Living with AI. In her capacity as a regular participant in the faith convenings held at Anthropic earlier this year, where faith leaders were briefed on the current state of AI and its projected future, Julie continues to give careful thought in the AI realm and will be sharing perspectives on artificial intelligence that will serve us well in the direction room and in our churches.
