Bring a cup of cocoa, wear your coziest clothes, and settle your heart for a time of reflection on God’s love expressed through the gift of His Son, Jesus. This one-hour Community Life Event is designed to provide space for you to sit in the wonder of the Incarnation.

Kathi Gatlin of the Companioning Center will guide us in a Lectio-styled reflection based in a posture of curiosity. You’ll want to have a paper and pen handy to capture your internal responses to whatever God has for you during our time together.

Let every heart prepare Him room!

Kathi Gatlin co-founded the Companioning Center and founded Boldly Loved to bring together her two greatest passions: spiritual formation and teaching. Her greatest joy is walking alongside others in their own spiritual journey, sharing ways of understanding God anew through contemplative prayer and teaching, and seeing them grow in the depth of their own understanding of who God is and who they are in their relationship with God.

As a spiritual director and supervisor, Kathi hosts a compassionate, contemplative, and evocative space. She trusts that the person being hosted has all the wisdom they need, and together they can listen to the Sacred Presence amid the journey. In a group space, all learn to do this type of three-way listening with one another, listening to self, God, and those around us.

Kathi lives in Magnolia, Texas, and enjoys learning, writing, walking in nature, and having leisurely conversations. She is a spiritual director, supervisor, writer, spiritual formation group facilitator, retreat speaker, and leadership mentor. Kathi earned an M.Ed and a D.Min. through George Fox University. She received her supervision training through Together in the Mystery.
